In a move that could simplify life for developers, Bitget has teamed up with Siebly.io to ship a set of ready‑made software development kits (SDKs) that cover the exchange’s V3 Unified Account and V2 Classic APIs. The partnership aims to streamline the creation of trading bots, automated strategies, and market‑data tools for JavaScript and TypeScript programmers.

The new SDKs give developers immediate access to spot trading, futures, copy‑trading, live market data, and private account functions. They also expose Bitget’s WebSocket API, which keeps a persistent connection between an application and the exchange, cutting network overhead compared with repeated HTTP requests. Security options include HMAC, RSA, and Ed25519 authentication, letting teams pick the method that best fits their risk profile.

According to the exchange, the toolkit follows a consistent development structure that Siebly uses across the exchanges it supports. The design is meant to make it easier for software teams to shift projects between venues without rebuilding each integration from scratch.

"Developers building automated trading systems need SDKs that are consistent, secure, and tested in production environments," said Siebly.io’s lead developer Tiago Siebler. "By collaborating with Bitget, we are making it easier for developers to integrate with one of the industry’s leading trading ecosystems."

Bitget’s CEO, Gracy Chen, linked the SDK partnership to the exchange’s Unified Exchange (UEX) strategy, which brings several asset classes and trading products under a single platform.

"UEX is about delivering a better trading experience for users and developers worldwide independent of the assets they trade," Chen said. "Collaborating with Siebly makes it easier to build reliable tools across Bitget’s unified account architecture, helping traders spend less time on integration and more time building strategies on Bitget."

The SDK rollout follows Bitget’s launch of a Cross‑Asset Unified Account in early July. The new account model places cryptocurrencies and tokenized U.S. equities inside one margin system, supporting more than 370 eligible assets, including 100 tokenized U.S. stocks called rTokens. Customers can hold rTokens and use them as margin for futures or margin trades, and the exchange also allows rTokens to be pledged as collateral for stable‑coin loans.

In addition to the unified account, Bitget introduced Stock+ as part of its Stocks 2.0 offering. Stock+ lets eligible customers purchase real U.S. shares with cryptocurrency. Deposited digital assets are converted into Circle’s USDC stablecoin before the share purchase is executed. Unlike synthetic stock products, Stock+ gives customers ownership of the underlying shares through regulated brokers, allowing them to receive dividends and participate in stock splits.

Bitget has also run a two‑month UEX Futures League competition, offering 240,000 USDT in prizes. The competition featured a crypto futures stage from June 1 to June 30 and a CFD stage from July 1 to July 31. The top teams from each stage advanced to an invitation‑only UEX Global Alpha Tournament.

The integration of Siebly SDKs gives developers standardized tools to access the full range of Bitget’s trading and account functions, including spot, futures, copy‑trading, and market‑data streams. It also gives them a direct route into the account architecture that underpins the cross‑asset unified account, Stock+, and other Bitget products.

Bitget has not announced a specific launch date for applications built with the new SDKs, but the supported functions cover several products already available on the exchange. The partnership is part of Bitget’s broader strategy to expand beyond crypto into tokenized equities and direct stock ownership while maintaining a unified trading experience for users and developers alike.

The move reflects a growing trend among exchanges to provide developer‑friendly APIs that reduce integration time and lower the risk of technical errors. By offering pre‑built libraries for both its V3 Unified Account and V2 Classic APIs, Bitget positions itself as a more accessible platform for algorithmic traders and software teams looking to build on a single, unified infrastructure.

As Bitget continues to roll out new products and expand its asset base, the Siebly SDKs are expected to play a key role in enabling developers to build and deploy trading strategies more efficiently across the exchange’s growing suite of services.
